    Still can not remove the General Antivirus from taskbar. Can’t figure it out. I have spyware doctor and it is not detecting it. What am I supposed to do now?

    Please check the following:

    1. Make sure you are using the latest version of Spyware Doctor.
    2. Empty your temporary Internet files (IMPORTANT!)
    3. Perform a full scan with Spyware Doctor while your computer is running in Safe Mode With Networking (to access Safe Mode, press and hold F8 when starting your PC)

    the damn program is block any page referring to its removal, it loads once then if you leave it won’t let you find it again unless you find an alt route grrrrrr
