Privacy Center Description:

Privacy Center (also known as PrivacyCenter) is the latest fake anti-malware utility coming as a set of dangerous rogue tools. Privacy Center is a clone of another internet hazard known as Privacy Components. Privacy Center corrupt trialware is usually installed via Trojan viruses that infiltrate undetected and configure the compromised system to operate in accordance with Privacy Center malicious plan. And the tactics applied are “traditional” – to mislead the victim into believing his/her machine is infected and needs a remedy in the form of Privacy Center full licensed version. The techniques used for attaining such malicious effect involve triggering fake alerts and scanners that report non-existent infections. The trick is that you won’t be able to try removing any of the “reported” malware until you buy Privacy Center commercial software. The worthless utilities constituting Privacy Center are as follows: Cookie guarder, Surf Protector, Registry doctor, Update manager and a few others. All of them are useless and should be avoided at all costs. If spotted on your computer, Privacy Center should be removed without any delay because its operating in your system is potentially harmful and disruptive.

MS has installed “privacy-center” weithout my authorisation! I refuse to keep it!!!

  2. 2. admin Says:

    Peter,
    FYI
It’s not MS that should be blamed for installing Privacy Center onto your comuter without your approval. Privacy Center is rogue anti-spyware, so its intrusion is done through backdoor trojans or browser hijackers.
Anyway, Privacy Center is not the software you want on your computer, so you should remove it following our removal recommendations above.
    Thanks for using Windows Protection!

    Omar,
We are not having any problems with the link, keep trying. The reason why you couldn’t access it might be the pranks of Privacy Center fraud.
