AntiVira Av is a malignant program continuing the string of rogue security applications such as Antivirus Scan and Antivirus .NET. This version is not really ‘improved’, nor is it particularly different from the forerunners – it has the same old interface and payment processing system. Perhaps, it’s just the name proper that makes it special. AntiVira Av doesn’t need you to install it manually or whatever; it simply finds other methods for infiltrating your computer. For instance, it may be bundled with some software update or come as a part of a file you download. Anyway, once you get this beast on your PC you will see its activity soon enough. AntiVira Av tends to show some bogus scan results and fabricated security alerts that attempt to scare the heck out of you. The malware misinforms you about the supposed presence of many viruses on your computer – this is done for you to eventually want to get your system protected and follow the bad recommendations of this scam software product. AntiVira Av also hijacks the web browser and begins redirecting it to spoof browser alert pages and its own payment sites, e.g. Poprog.com or Shopllbo.com.
